True to form, Jo Malone London celebrated the heart of the brand this year with delightfully endearing dinosaurs, laden with their iconic bottles and packaging, gallivanting through a garden of outrageously gigantic florals. This proved to be the perfect showcase for Echo’s creative design, fabrication and prop-making teams. Engineering the progress of the slice-form Diplodocus from an initial hand-sized acrylic prototype into its full-sized form, made from custom-stained Valchromat, was hugely satisfying. At the same time, the mammoth task of the prototyping and creating each of the flower forms, custom staining a dazzlingly array of crepe paper shades, and hand forming the giant shapes and features, became this year’s keynote project for our prop-makers. It’s a Jo Malone London jungle out there!
