CHQ Building Dublin

Epic Ireland

“My own experience of being an emigrant has always stayed with me. I’ve always believed that the story of Irish people around the world was one worth telling, and so, I founded EPIC.”

— Neville Isdell, Founder of Epic Ireland

Over the centuries, some 10 million people have left the island of Ireland. EPIC Ireland tells the dramatic story of how these people have spread around the globe, and how they changed the world.

Through 20 state-of-the-art galleries, visitors immerse themselves in the stories of some of the most remarkable tales of sacrifice, endurance, adventure, and discovery the world has ever known.

Located in The chq Building in the heart of Dublin‘s docklands, the exhibition breathes new life in to the 22 former whiskey barrel vaults, long abandoned and forgotten.

The incredible, heart-warming tales of people and culture are brought to life in a unique and spectacular way, using interactive screens, projections, and 360 degree graphics, to a degree never experienced before.

Echo supported the complex design and artworking of the graphics throughout the exhibition.  We produced and installed the extensive scale of visuals covering walls, cladding displays, stencil spraying metal archways, on site screen printing and much more besides. The outstanding full coverage printed flooring is the first of its kind and has to be seen to be believed.
